On June 30, 2026, Ajahn Pasanno, the retired abbot of Abhayagiri Monastery, together with more than twenty monks and lay supporters from their monastery, accompanied five visiting monks from Thailand on a visit to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
2026年6月30日，無畏寺榮休方丈帕薩諾法師，以及無畏寺僧人、護法居士二十餘人，陪同五位來自泰國的客僧參訪萬佛聖城。
Among the five Thai monks, three were senior “Luang Por”–level elders: Luang Por Damrong Suchitto, with sixty vassa, Luang Por Damrong Siribhaddo, with fifty-seven vassa, and Luang Por Jundee, with fifty-one vassa. Vassa refers to the number of years or rainy seasons that a person has been a fully ordained Bhikshu/Bhikkhu.
五位泰國僧侶中，有三位是資深的「隆波」級長老：分別是戒臘60（雨安居年）的隆波達姆隆•蘇奇托、戒臘57的隆波達姆隆•思瑞巴多，以及戒臘51的隆波江砥。雨安居年指的是僧侶受具足戒成為比丘的年數或雨季數。
All three are direct disciples of Ajahn Chah, having personally trained under his teachings. For Luang Por Damrong Suchitto, a Thai monk residing at Wat Pathum Wana in Buriram Province, this was his first visit to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Because of the similarity in their names, some people confuse him with Luang Por Sucitto, the British disciple of Luang Por Sumedho.
這三位長老皆為阿姜查的嫡傳弟子，曾親自跟隨阿姜查學習。對於駐錫於泰國武里南府巴吞瓦寺的泰僧隆波達姆隆·蘇奇陀來說，這是他第一次參訪萬佛聖城。由於名字相似，有些人會將他與隆波蘇美度的英國弟子隆波蘇奇陀（蘇悉多法師）混淆。
The other two accompanying Thai monks were Ajahn Sek and Ajahn Moshe. These five Thai monks came at the invitation of Abhayagiri Monastery to participate in its 30th anniversary celebration.
同行的另外兩位泰僧是阿姜塞和阿姜莫什。這五位泰國僧侶是應無畏寺的邀請，前來參加該寺三十週年慶典。
Ajahn Pasanno served as the Thai–English translator. Ajahn Pasanno previously was the abbot of Wat Pah Nanachat, the International Forest Monastery in northeastern Thailand, for many years. Hence, he is fluent in Thai. He is also a Luong Por with fifty-two vassa.
帕薩諾法師是此行的泰語和英語口譯。帕薩諾法師曾擔任泰國東北部巴蓬寺國際森林道場的住持多年，說得一口流利的泰語。他也是隆波級的長老僧，戒臘52。
This visiting group was received by Dharma Master Heng Shun. Dharma Master Heng Shun along with several other residents of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas helped guide them through visits to the Patriarch Hall, the Buddha Hall, the Earth Store Hall, and the Wordless Hall. The monks had a wonderful conversation on the monastic code shared by both the Mahayana and Theravada traditions as well as the many other practices held in common.
來訪的僧團由恒順法師負責接待，順法師與萬佛聖城的其他幾位住眾，一同帶領他們參觀了祖師殿、萬佛殿、地藏殿和無言堂。這群比丘就南北傳佛教共同的僧伽戒律、以及許多共同的修行方式，進行了很有意思的交流。♦
