佛經翻譯委員會新推出宣公上人淺釋的《地藏菩薩本願經》西班牙文譯本，分為上下兩冊。上冊譯出《地藏經》前五品，下冊則是後八品；兩冊各為三百餘頁。這套西班牙文《地藏經》裏的地藏菩薩圖片，正是萬佛聖城地藏殿裏的地藏菩薩塑像，法相十分莊嚴。
The Buddhist Text Translation Society has newly released a Spanish translation of the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva with Commentary by the Venerable Master Hsuan Hua. The translation is divided into two volumes: volume one covers the initial five chapters of the sutra, while volume two contains the remaining eight chapters. Each volume has over 300 pages. The image of Earth Store Bodhisattva featured in this Spanish edition is a picture of the statue housed in the Earth Treasury Hall at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, which looks dignified and adorned.
可供持誦的《地藏經》經本西班牙文版於2021年出版後，許多西班牙文讀者都期待著，附有宣公上人淺釋的西班牙文《地藏經》也能早日出版，以便深入理解《地藏經》的義理。如今終於滿了大家的願，事實上是2024年已在台灣印刷完成，但因船運之故，直到2025年，法界佛教總會各分支道場才收到印刷版。如今在佛經翻譯委員會網站，以及亞馬遜網站上，都可請到附有上人淺釋的《地藏菩薩本願經》西班牙文譯本。
After the Spanish text of the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva for reading and recitation was published in 2021, many Spanish-speaking readers eagerly awaited a version that included the Venerable Master Hua’s commentary to deepen their understanding of the sutra’s profound teachings. That wish has now been fulfilled. Although the printing was completed in Taiwan in 2024, due to shipping arrangements, branches of the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association did not receive the printed copies until 2025. The Spanish edition with commentary is now available through the Buddhist Text Translation Society’s website and on Amazon.
佛經翻譯委員會西班牙文部負責人近燈法師指出，固定參與翻譯經典的西班牙文翻譯團隊有6至8人，分別定居墨西哥、委內瑞拉、阿根廷、厄瓜多爾、以及來自西班牙的萬佛聖城常住眾。這支國際化的翻譯團隊，自2013年起，每週在線上共同翻譯6至8小時，其中一半的時間用於翻譯《地藏經》，另一半時間則翻譯其他經典。
Dharma Master Jin Deng, head of the Spanish Department of the Buddhist Text Translation Society, pointed out that the core Spanish translation team dedicated to the regular translation of Buddhist texts consists of six to eight members. They reside in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, and include a Spanish resident of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Since 2013, this international translation team has collaborated online for six to eight hours each week. Half of this time was devoted to translating the Earth Store Sutra, while the other half is allocated to translating other sutras.
在翻譯《地藏經》淺釋時，他們重新聆聽上人淺釋的錄音，核對中英文版本，並按中文版加入補充資料，因此內容十分完整。佛經翻譯委員會出版西班牙文佛經，始於1979年的《阿彌陀經》；其後陸續出版《四十二章經》、《藥師經》、《十法界不離一念心》、《宣化上人事蹟》、《三皈五戒》等等。前幾年推出新版《阿彌陀經》、〈普門品〉、以上佛經均有上人淺釋。另也出版了《宣化上人開示錄》、《禪》、還有若干西班牙文兒童故事書。
When translating the Earth Store Sutra with Venerable Master Hua’s Commentary, they listened to the recordings of the Venerable Master’s explanations again, cross-referenced the Chinese and English versions, and supplemented the content based on the Chinese edition, resulting in a comprehensive translation. The Buddhist Text Translation Committee began publishing Spanish-language Buddhist texts in 1979 with the Amitabha Sutra. Subsequently, they published the Sutra of Forty-Two Chapters, the Medicine Master Sutra, The Ten Dharma Realms Are Not Beyond a Single Thought, Records of the Life of Venerable Master Hsuan Hua, The Three Refuges and Five Precepts, and others. A few year ago, a new edition of the Amitabha Sutra and the “Universal Door Chapter” were released, all of which include the Venerable Master’s commentaries. Additionally, they have published Talks on Dharma by the Venerable Master Hua, Chan Talks, and several Spanish-language children’s storybooks.

Currently, the Spanish version of the Shurangama Sutra is in the layout phase, while the Sixth Patriarch’s Dharma Jewel Platform Sutra and the Treatise on the Hundred Dharmas are undergoing proofreading. When Dharma Masters Jin Deng and Jin Rou traveled to Mexico in summer 2025 to share the Dharma, they brought several sets of the newly published Master Hua’s Commentary in Spanish on the Earth Store Sutra, bringing great joy and Dharma bliss to the local translators and devotees.
